Samaritan Suppers will have its 2009 kick-off on January 24 at 6:30 PM in the Parish House with a communal pot-luck and fellowship. For those who are not familiar with this Small Group Fellowship, we meet the fourth Saturday of each month in groups of 6-8 at the homes of designated hosts to share potluck supper and fellowship. It is not necessary to host in order to participate. The only criteria is to let the organizer know during the first week of a given month if you are NOT able to participate that fourth Saturday.

OBLATION MINISTRY
Oblationer ministry participants (Oblationers) bring to the altar the bread and wine for Holy Communion. Because this is an offering, it is done during our service at the time of the general offertory. Two oblationers are requested for each Sunday service as well as for Holy Communion services during Holy Week and Christmas. No special training is needed! This is a wonderful way to celebrate an anniversary or birthday. You are encouraged to sign up to serve as an oblationer for specific Sundays. For your convenience, there is a sign-up book located in the Narthex next to the flower sign-up, as well as a sign-up sheet posted on the wall in the Narthex along with other ministries.
